Amazing experience. I chose to come here with my fiancee for our 5th year anniversary. It was our first time and I was thoroughly impressed. The server, Mike, wished us a happy anniversary, I specified the occasion on Open Table, and he wrote us a card before we arrived. Food was amazing and the service was better. Will be coming back again. Definitely worth checking out. Thank you Rye!
I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere and PHENOMENAL food! The chef who creates the recipes is truly a genius and the presentation was truly beautiful. I had the wagyu burger which was fresh and not heavy or greasy- perfection! My husband had the root beer braised short ribs which were SO tender and flavorful. We ended the meal by sharing the winter bread pudding which was truly the best dessert I’ve ever had! Not overly sweet but just sweet enough with the ice cream on top. Will definitely be eating here again!!!!
This place is really nice, the wait staff are very good. The food is literally some of the best food you'll ever have, the steak is perfection and the chicken marsala is to die for. I will say it's a bit small, there wasn't really any place to take cute pictures except in front of the sign outside. The prices are good though for the quality of the experience it was 100% worth it, I would go again and I definitely recommend.
We don't get to Appleton that often. Staying across the street at the Paper Valley Hotel. Glad that we decided to have dinner at Rye (right across the street). Had reservations, got there a little early so we sat at bar and had a couple of their special Old Fashioned. Got great service and terrific drinks (Thanks Clause). Got seated at a nice spot, towards the rear. Spacious and not too noisy. We ordered several of the Sharable plates, Beet Salad, Crab Cakes, and Seared Ahi Tuna Salad. Each one was an amazing combination of flavors and textures. Hard to pick a favorite. We had room for dessert, so we tried the special Peppermint Dome. Again, an amazing choice. In total and excellent meal. We would definitely stop again.
Rye is fine dining so we don’t come here too often but I have yet to be disappointed. We snagged a reservation the same day. Dinner was delicious, from the blackberry lavender martini to the flash seared sesame crusted ahi tuna appetizer to our meals of Wagyu burger and braised beef and wild mushroom ragu.
We had dinner here for our anniversary, and the experience was fantastic! The staff left a thoughtful note thanking us for celebrating with them, and they even surprised us with an anniversary dessert. The service was outstanding. We tried the Wagyu burger and cheese curds, and both were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place!
